BEIRUT, Jan 11 -- The Lebanese army said on Sunday that two Israeli warplanes penetrated today the Lebanese airspace and flew over a number of areas.

The Army Command said in a statement that two enemy jets flew today over Kafr Kala and headed north where they circled over many Lebanese areas.

The statement added that the two jets headed south towards the occupied Palestinian territories.
